This was our birthday party for Ky with my family and Logan friends. Jace got ice cream and wasn't quite sure what to think! Kenz and Bracki always make life entertaining! I made the cake...which Ky couldn't tell was Buzz Lightyear(but I'm pretty sure that it was a good 1st attempt at decorating!) It was awesome!

Disneyland...AGAIN!!!

It's official...we're going back to Disneyland. Heather, Carol, my mom, me, and the kids are going April 15-19 to California to Disneyland.

I don't know how many of you are aware that Ky has been diagnosed with a speech delay and wasn't saying more than one syllable words. We literally hadn't even gotten to the park when he said "DISNEYLAND" and the language expansion continued for the week we were there. I started to think that we would be better off to take him on a language rich experience rather than giving him presents and such. Heather called me and talked about taking the boys this summer, and then Carol talked about taking Ky to do something fun to celebrate being done with yearly's and taxes! We put two and two together and we're going to California in April to be together to celebrate a plethera of things...but mostly Ky's birthday!

Thanks to Hil, Steph, and Melissa that contributed to the "Let's take Ky to Disneyland" fund!

We love you and I'm sure we'll have more to report soon!

Mission Accomplished

I accomplished a really important goal today, I finished reading The Book of Mormon for the first time since high school. Our relief society presidency made the challenge to finish it by General Conference...for the first time I'm done ahead of time and didn't just keep to the two chapters a night. I'm so excited to be able to have this experience!! I figured that this would also help me as Kevin and I prepare for the temple. I'm really hoping that we will be able to be sealed by the time the new baby is born!

Shock!

So backing up...

I took the first test on February 4th...

called Kevin, he decided that it was a false positive...

erego the next two test following this one...

these THREE tests proved that I wasn't just being moody,

that I was actually pregnant!

I've now been to the dr and everything looks great, baby bean was jumping around like crazy and the dr said if he were to guess that it's a girl! Of course I'm skeptical considering now that we've had two boys in a row but we'll see what happens!

My due date is September 14th so it should be an interesting summer!
